A field trip to the University of Redlands is planned for December 9th for our 11th and 12th-grade students. This event is to encourage our students to further their education after high school. Space will be limited and permission slips are required. Permission slips will be distributed during Academy class and need to be returned to Mrs. Reinhold once signed by a parent or guardian.

Hello 8th and 9th grade parents. Your student has a great opportunity to take the PSAT on Wednesday, November 16th from 8:50 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on campus to help prepare them to take the SAT. Space is limited, so please have your student register with Mrs. Reinhold, the school counselor.

SLAHD is having an Art Contest! We are looking for cadets to create the cover for the 2022-23 yearbook. This is a great way to show off your artistic skills! The deadline is December 1st. We can not wait to see what you create. #yearbook #slahd #artcontest

Spirit Week is next week! Show your school spirit by participating in a different theme each day. If students choose not to participate they will need to dress in Charlie uniform. Boo Grams will be sold at the student store during lunch on Thursday 10/27 and Friday 10/28 and delivered on 10/31 during 5th period.

Summit Leadership Academy will be hosting a College and Career Day for all students on Tuesday, November 29th from 1:00-3:30 PM. Personnel from the military, surrounding colleges, and companies will be there to present demonstrations.

Pep Squad is selling Halloween Boo Grams! For only $2 you can send a personalized message and a fun-filled gift bag of candy to a friend, teacher, or sibling. Boo Grams will be on sale at the student store during lunch on Oct. 27th, 28th, and 31st. Boo Grams will be delivered on October 31st, by Pep Squad, during 5th period.

The Go Green BMX Show will be at Summit Leadership Academy for our students on 11/29. This BMX show is a high-paced music-filled performance featuring tricks and stunts on BMX bikes. They share the message of 5 secrets to Success:

A Night Under the Stars! Homecoming is Friday, November 4th from 6 PM to 10 PM. Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, October 26th during lunch. Ticket prices are $20 per person, $30 per couple, and $30 per person at the door.
